RailsConf2007 … an amazing conference in an amazing city: Portland is fantastic, we’ve been hanging around for the whole Wednesday walking between avenues and squares in this friendly and weird city (we have a photostrem here ); our hotel is literally filled of RailsConf2007 attendee and the atmosphere is great!
Yesterday we followed the tutorial sessions and… wow I was impressed by the coding performances I saw ( in particular Bruce Williams’s one ). In the evening we ended up eating in a country restaurant in downtown.
Today is the first, real conference day and we’ve just enjoyed the David keynotes about the features that will be introduced in Rails 2.0: HTTP performance enhancements and a marvelous debugger are the majors.
