I recently read a wonderful book titled “Revolution in the valley” written by Andy Hertzfeld – a developer who contributed to create the first Macintosh.
In that book I discovered some nice memories about the fight between the Macintosh team and the Apple II team. The Macintosh software team was very proud about its workaholic life style and celebrated that through the “90 hours a week and loving it” T-shirt.
At that time programming was very hard, they didn’t have Ruby on Rails. Nowadays RoR fans could celebrate this new wonderful way of doing things with a “2 hours a day and be proud of it!” T-shirt.
